additions to addictions
Painting, and sketching have been a therapeutic outlet for me for a long time now, but I’ve recently found another way to calm my nerves the fuck down. I’ve been creating playlists on a daily basis, naming them accordingly, and then listening to them to de-stress. I’m not exactly sure WHY it calms me down, but who am I to question such awesomeness? Anyways, so, I’ve decided that I wanted to start posting my creations here. Playlists and such. It might get a little boring for you, but I’m not sorry! This morning, I opened my bedroom window to the extrinsic sounds of birds in the trees, and I say extrinsic because it sounded like they were either (a) dying or (b) fucking. It was inappropriately disturbing. The only reason I’m telling you this (aside from the fact that I don’t want to be the only one who feels violated by nature), is that I named my playlists after it. I knew there was a reason why Seattle and I get along.
This was made clear last night when Nicole, Dave, and the girls were driving in downtown Renton. One minute, the sun was out, and the next? Fucking windstorm came out of nowhere, shaking up the dust and the trees. It was insane. Nicole, and I figured out that the weather, like our moods, changes at an incredibly alarming rate.
However, the sunset I took a picture of, right outside of their house, was fucking gorgeous.
